2. Bentong Gallery

Bentong Gallery’s self-professed goal is to “to dedicate a conducive platform for people not only from Bentong but also other parts of the world to know, understand and appreciate the historical journey that started many decades ago in bringing Bentong to her present state.”
Bentong has a long, colourful, and unique history.

The gallery has three halls encompassing the various eras of Bentong’s development and also contains a cafe (‘BG Cafe’) and a souvenir shop (‘BG Store’) to better enjoy and commemorate your visit to this historical gallery.

Bentong Gallery is one of the rare tourist attractions that is not only enjoyable on its own but will make you appreciate the rest of Banting all the more.

3. Bentong Walk

Every Saturday, the streets of Bentong come alive. Bentong Walk is, predictably, a walking tour through the preserved streets of historical Bentong. See the gorgeous murals painted among the streets, juxtaposed with the old-fashioned architecture of the buildings dotting the roads.

Then step into the night market and shop at stalls selling things like ginger, honey durian, handicrafts, smelly tofu, and soy sauce, all locally produced.

The Bentong Walk attraction is one that has benefitted the locals of Bentong as well, as it promoted the skills of entrepreneurship and street art among the youth of Bentong.

Take note, however, that this attraction is only open on Saturdays, from 5 pm onwards. If you like shopping at markets and talking a walk through history, you are sure to love Bentong Walk.

4. Chamang Waterfall

Chamang Waterfall is an attraction for nature-loving visitors of Bentong, who may find themselves at odds with the indoor-oriented and urban nature of the other famous attractions at Bentong.

Also known as Lover’s Waterfall, this picturesque spot is nestled among the hills and features natural flora and cool water. This is a popular hiking spot as well, with trails challenging for the most seasoned trekker. If you want to take pictures, feel free to do so.

However, be careful: many accidents have occurred here due to the heights and the rapid currents in the water.

If you are careful there is no danger, but be attentive and keep yourself safe. Regardless of this, the waterfall remains a beautiful, scenic tourist destination for the adventurous visitors to Bentong.

5. Bilut Extreme Park

If even trekking is too mild for you, visit Bilut Extreme Park.

The most well-known activity is ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) riding. Follow a professional driver through winding trails on a responsive motor vehicle which you can ride all on your own. Even children can ride the ATVs.

What’s more, the activities are perfectly safe: no mortal danger for anyone involved. Other activities here include archery and paintball. These activities are suitable for both lone travellers and groups.

So if you are a fan of extreme sports, Bilut Extreme Park is for you.
